It is said that when a man is educated it benefits only himself, but when a woman is educated , an entire nation gets educated. Smt. Chandrakanthi envisioned empowerment of women through education as a means to enlightening India. That this was envisioned in 1956 when such thoughts were considered unacceptable particularly from women makes Chandrakanthi's dream truly revolutionary. The GRG Trust, established in 1956, stands tall today.
